We certainly can't believe that we arrived just as summer was beginning and it is now Autumnal Equinox! Not to mention, we hit the ground running and it's about time we catch our breath and our guests up on happenings at the Inn.
Jim and Susan, our trusty Innsitters came in early September to give us a welcomed break. We were able to attend a family reunion in Kansas City as Jeanne's mom turned 90! She always wanted to go ski diving and her bucket list got another check mark. Talk about being brave and daring! Needless to say, she did the family proud.
We have been taking motorcycle tours of the area to perfect our "wine tour" and routes for driving, motorcycling and bicycle day trips. We're finding great back roads and routes to challenge a wide variety of outdoor enthusiasts, so come in whatever form of vehicle you wish to travel in and we can send you off on a great, fun-filled day.
We are saddened to report the closing of The Bank restaurant here in Pearisburg. We will miss them and will keep you posted on what transpires for a new restaurant in town. In the meantime, we have a variety of choices and can do something special in house with advance notice on Monday evenings.
With the cooler fall days, we are outside in the gardens, renewing and replacing plants. Lots of planning for long term flower beds are in the works so we will keep you posted.
Come see us for the beautiful, crisp fall days. Take a challenging hike and be outdoors while the opportunity is here, John and Jeanne
