Inn at Riverbend is located on almost 14 acres, high on a bluff with spectacular views overlooking the New River. For those visiting the Inn for the first time we invite you to experience this incredible setting by relaxing in front of the stone fireplace, reading in the hammock or watching the birds land on the small pond! After a restful night in one of our seven beautiful guest rooms, you’ll awaken refreshed to the wonderful smells of applewood bacon, hot scones, lemon ricotta pancakes and many other delectable items for breakfast.

All of our seven rooms are individually and tastefully decorated, featuring spacious private baths, sumptuous Comphy sheets, our signature robes, large closets, and breathtaking views! Our rooms are user friendly for both leisure and business travellers and free WiFi is available throughout the Inn.

Room Amenities
All guest rooms have private baths with tub/shower combinations. Entry level rooms have MTI Whirlpool tubs. Each bathroom is stocked with Lather Aromatherapy specialty soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions and vanity packages. Robes, blow dryers, ironing boards and irons are also in each room.
Enjoy our Simmons Westbury mattresses, triple sheeting with Comphy sheets, individual A/C controls, ceiling fans, cable TV/radio, clock radios with MP3 connections and cd players, and wireless internet. Bring your favorite movies for the DVD players, or choose a movie from the wide selection of DVDs available at the Inn.
WIFI Capability is available throughout the property, both indoors and outside on the decks and terraces. Work anywhere at anytime without an additional charge.
Please familiarize yourself with our Guest Policies!
- Most importantly, we are a smoke-free inn.Cigarettes, cigars, and candles are not permitted in the guests rooms or on the decks and terraces. Please respect this aspect of our inn. A cleaning fee of $300 is charged for guests who ignore this.
- Check-in between 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Check out at 11:00 a.m. Early and late arrivals must be arranged in advance.
- Full breakfast with fruit, baked goods, hot entree of the day, coffee, tea and juices is included with each overnight stay. Breakfast is served at 8:30 am or 9:00 am on the weekends. An early breakfast may be requested for corporate guests, or those planning to fish, bird, or hike early in the morning. Please let us know in advance of any dietary restrictions.
- We are inspected according to the policies of our local health department.
One night deposit or 50% of the total stay, which ever is greater, is required with all reservations. Deposits will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received at least 14 days prior to the arrival date. There after, deposits will be refunded less a $25 processing fee only if all of the canceled nights are re-booked. All holidays and reservations relating to Virginia Tech or Radford events require a 30 days to cancel without penalty.
- Two night minimum stay is required for all weekends, holidays and special events which fall in the middle of the week. Some holiday weekends may require a three night minimum.
- Weekend rates apply to Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and holidays. Rate are subject to change. State and local taxes are in addition to the published rooom rate.
- Payment must be made on arrival for all balances. We accept MC, Visa. Discover, AMEX and cash as forms of payment.
- Corporate rate and gift certificates available.
- Guests over 10 are welcome to stay. As much as we love small children, our setting is not appropriate for young children.
- Sorry, we are pet lovers but do not allow guest’s pets to stay overnight. Please contact Allison at Doe Creek Kennels where your pet will be treated as a guest at her great location with day care and overnight boarding including snack time and turndown service.
Please note that we have 2 resident inn dogs, Gaby and Zoey, on the property. They are very loving but don’t expect them to rise to early in the morning.
